Watson Cable Company is a family owned and operated local business formed in 1970. Robert Watson founded his first cable company to provide cable TV service to the residents of Centerville, GA, while still working as a technician for Southern Bell Telephone Company and serving in the Air National Guard’s Communications Squad. As the business grew, it demanded more of his time, so he finally retired after more than 25 years with Southern Bell. In the ensuing years, Mr. Watson built and operated cable TV systems in Byron, Forsyth, Gray, Pinehurst, Waleska, Cherokee County and several private developments in the mid-state area.

In 1986, Watson Cable won a competitive bid to build and operate the cable TV system on Robins Air Force Base. Since then, we have expanded our service area to include portions of Centerville, Warner Robins and Houston County. We also own and operate cable systems in Bibb County and Fort White, FL.

In 1999 Watson Cable Company became the first cable company in Middle Georgia to offer high-speed cable modem service. With three generations of the Watson Family now working at the company, Watson Cable continues to provide the personal touch in offering courteous and prompt customer service.
